Stone Pony

The latest in my "Forgotten Dreams" series of cave paintings. The multiple legs, in estimation, were to imply the movement of the pony. It is highly textured and is done in rich ochres and charcoal.

Cave Walls

This is the largest, so far, of my "Forgotten Dreams" series of cave paintings. It is 72" x 72" x 3" and has lots of texture and movement. The spiral is a form that appears in many cave paintings all over the world.

Forgotten Dreams Series: Big Bison II 36x36

This is one of an ever expanding series of paintings called "Forgotten Dreams". I was inspired by cave paintings from all over the world. I used lots of texture to lend the work the look and feel of stone. I used charcoal and dry pigments to lend an air of authenticity to the work. I am amazed at the sophistication of our ancient ancestors and the beauty of their work that still survives.
